Clubs, Tests & Trials

Field Trial Ducks & Retriever Training Mallards

Field trial mallards need to be consistent — same size, same condition, every dog and every series. DuNorth Farms supplies frozen field trial ducks and mallard ducks for retriever training to Ontario clubs, judges and handlers, in bulk 50 and 100 bird orders with delivery or pickup.

Mallard Ducks for Retriever Training and Testing

A trial is only as fair as its birds. When bird size and condition drift between series, the dogs pay for it. We supply consistent frozen mallards so every handler works with the same standard.

Between events, the same birds cover ordinary retriever training — marks, blinds, water work, and steadiness drills. Order bulk for the season and draw from your freezer as the calendar fills.

Common Questions

Do you supply birds for clubs and field trials?
Yes. Bulk 50 and 100 bird orders are our most common club order. Request a quote with your event date and bird count and we will confirm supply and delivery.
Are the birds consistent in size?
We keep sizing consistent order to order, which matters for retriever training and for fairness across handlers at a test or trial.
How far ahead should a club book?
For a dated event, booking a few weeks ahead is safest. We also take last-minute orders when supply allows.
